Back to the polish!
By a show of hands… or wait, I guess in this case, post likes, who else wanted to be a mermaid after watching The Little Mermaid for the first time? Yes, a mermaid/merman – an aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a human and the tail of a fish!!
No? Just me?!
Well, I finally gave up on that idea some time ago…sorta….kinda but now that it’s officially beach season, I still really want to be a mermaid. How cool would be? Can you picture it? Me, Krystal perched on a rock or swimming off in the horizon with an amazing multichrome tail with flakies and holo goodness glistening in the sun. We’ll see how it goes when I head to the beach later this month. If I return in July, still plain, old Krystal, there will be disappointment and probably a few tantrums.
If that happens, at least I know I have polish to keep me happy. More specifically, the Sirens of Summer: Bright Summer Fun trio from Rogue Lacquer. If you’re in the Rogue Lacquer Facebook Fan Group – Gone Rogue or even follow on Instagram (don’t worry, links are below), then you have already started seeing pictures and swatches of this perfect summertime trio. They scream beach and mermaids and the colors are fun, exciting and will have you saying, ‘Beach please!
**All swatches are done using Commitment Issue (liquid latex peel off base coat) and Top Coat by Glisten & Glow and Matte Topcoat by Sassy Sauce Polish Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

Overall Thoughts – Rogue Lacquer – Sirens of Summer: Bright Summer Fun
Formula / Application: for jelly polishes, these are a true pleasure to work with. They are not to thick and dry pretty quickly. Easy application and builds up nicely in 3 coats. I didn’t note any staining or dragging and they dry semi glossy.
