Good Morning, friends! I’m so excited you all decided to join me back here at the Queendom because I have an extra special good post today! Did I just say ‘extra, special, good?’ Yep, I did because it is!
My dear friend Amanda was kind enough to accept my offer to guest blog for me and I’m so happy and grateful that she did. So I’ll hush up so we can check out what she has in store for us…..
Hi Krystal’s friends! My name is Amanda. I’m also known as Secretlifeofnails on Instagram and Facebook. I’ve been following Krystal for what feels like forever now and I’m tickled pink that I get to call her one of my very good friends. I absolutely adore her, seriously, she’s one my most favorite people in the whole wide world! ❤️ So naturally, when I saw that she was looking for a guest blogger I jumped on the chance to be that person. Who wouldn’t right?
So, for this blog post I will be introducing you to a fairly new indie maker and showing you her new collection that is soon to be released. The indie brand is Bee’s Knees Lacquer and the maker is Sarah. Sarah is an amazingly talented person and she’s also one of the sweetest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of swatching for. She’s a brand new baby in the indie world but you would never know it by looking at her polishes. Everything I have swatched for her has been absolutely beautiful and she continues to amaze me with every new collection that she releases! This is Sarah…
Isn’t she just the cutest?!?
Ok, so on to the new polishes because I know that’s what you really want to see. This collection is called “Witch, Please!” and it consists of 6 stunning polishes! All of my swatches are done in artificial lighting unless otherwise stated. They are also all shown in 2 coats plus top coat.
The first polish is “Which Witch Trial?” and it is described as a mid-toned gray crème with orange to gold multichrome shimmer and glowing ruby red flakies. Sounds beautiful already right? Yep it is!
I love the red flakies in this one. It makes it look like it’s literally glowing! This next swatch is shown in natural lighting because I had to show you the glow, its serious business ya’ll!
And here is a macro and bottle shot.
The next polish is “Witch Children?” and it’s described as an inky navy blue with cobalt to violet shimmer almost giving it a foiled appearance. Do I have your attention yet?
This polish was inspired by the mythology of Black Agnes, a blue skinned witch that eats wandering children. There was a polish in Sarah’s last collection called “House On Haunted Chill” that was a huge hit. I’m calling this one her darker more vampy twin sister. This is a gorgeous polish! Here’s a macro and bottle shot.
The next polish is “Witch Way To Go?” and it’s described as a black with red shimmer and loaded with holo.
This one was inspired by Hecate, goddess of witchcraft and the crossroads. I’ll be honest, I have no clue who that is but what I do know is that this polish is a stunner! It’s my second favorite out of this bundle of joy. Just wait til you see the macro…which is here, along with a bottle shot.
Moving on, this next polish is “Fine Swine” and its described as a fiery glowing red with a gold to green shimmer and assorted holo flakies.
MMM..MMM….MMMMMM! This one is my FAV-OR-ITE! I can not get over how beautiful this polish is! It’s such a bright red and the flakies just do it all for me. Seriously, if you just want to get one polish to try, let it be this one. You won’t be disappointed. If you’ve made it this far you know what’s next, yep the macro and bottle shot.
FYI…I’m still not over it. Also, I was so not over it that I forgot to tell you that this one was inspired by Circe, the witch from Greek mythology with a penchant for turning men into pigs. That just makes me love it even more! 😂
For the second to last polish, we have “Only Witch Is Best Witch” and it’s described as an ultra holo blackened emerald.
This one was inspired by the movie They’re Watching. I’m guessing this will be a favorite of many also. The shift and holo yumminess is to die for! Here’s the macro and bottle shot.
Last but certainly not least, this is “Bloo[d]oo” and it’s described as a slightly fuchsia leaning red with crimson shimmer and ultra linear holo.
What’s not to love about this one?? I’m still wearing this one and I still can’t stop staring at my nails. Please send help! Do I really need to say what’s next? Maybe someone in the back didn’t hear the first 5 times….heeere’s the macro and bottle shot!
This brings us to the end. This whole collection will be available this Friday, 10/20. I would highly recommend that you grab one or a few or even all of them to try them out for yourself. Her polish is always amazing and the formula is always perfect! Also while you’re at it, hop over to facebook and join the fan group so you don’t miss out on all the new fun stuff coming up in November.
Thank you so much for allowing me to steal a little bit of your time! I feel so honored to have been given the opportunity to guest blog for Krystal. This was so much fun! If you like what you saw here, you can check out my blog. I’m not near as good as Krystal at keeping a schedule and I’m new to the blogging world but it’s a work in progress and I’m working on getting better at it. I welcome anyone who wants to come watch me stumble through it until I become a pro. Thanks ya’ll!
I’ll leave you with a bonus swatch of “House On Haunted Chill”, the polish I referred to as “Witch Children?”(’s) twin sister. This one will be restocked on Friday as well so go ahead and grab this one too!
