***PRESS (PR) SAMPLE NOTICE ***
Hey y’all, welcome back! Today I have the first of a 3 part post bringing you polishes from a brand new maker, Carrie Duffy of Sassy Sauce Polish. Carries sent me all 22 of her inaugural polishes releasing at her launch. So, now thru Wednesday of this week, you’re going to get first looks at what’s in store.
Because we have a lot to cover in such a short amount of time, what do you say we leave the introductions til the end. For now, I’ll just let you know that Sassy Sauce is a hand-poured, 5 Free indie brand out of Illinois. The polishes? They speak for themselves but I’ll just say this one last thing before we take a look, Sassy Sauce is here to stay!
**All swatches are done using Commitment Issue Peel-off Base Coat by Vapid and Sassy Sauce TC (shiny) and Matte topcoat by Jior Couture (matte). Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**
A steel, almost black with a matte finish with no glitter
A dark Grey base with several sizes of holographic glitter
Neon pink with tiny blue flakies
A neon purple with blue sparks and tiny blue flakies
A white pearl when applied looks gold
A yellow crelly with a red hilite, green flakies matte bubblegum glitter and several sizes of hot pink dots
Brown jelly base with violet blue orange chameleon pigment, purple lime copper shifting flakes, silver and copper holographic glitter and sparkling taupe microflakies
Overall Thoughts – Sassy Sauce Polish Pt 1
Formula / Application: no too thick or thin. Formulas are what you’d expect and apply nicely. Glitters did settle, so shaking/rolling to suspend glitters may be needed. No issues to report.
Opacity: swatches shown in 3 coats unless otherwise stated.
Price: $8.50 each
Availability: July 15th at 11am CST
Overall: Thoroughly enjoyed swatching each polish. The flakies in Karma and Savage Deviant pop more in real life and of the bunch I LOVE Magical Blunder because it’s not what I excepted which I loved most. I was impressed by how matte Mattey Black is even without matte tc.
