Swatch & Review: Alter Ego – June Fantasmic Flakies Group Custom and Polish Pickup Pack

***PRESS (PR) SAMPLE NOTICE ***

Good Morning!! Today is my 1 year BLOGIVERSARY!! #insertapplausehere! I am super excited that I have made it this far and I’m even more excited to see what the future has in store. But let’s be honest, it’s because of you, the readers, supporters and encouragers that I have made it this far. Spoiler Alert 🚨- there is a special announcement at the end of this post! Also, be on the lookout for a blog post outlining some blog changes coming down the pike. Sorry, I didn’t mean to hijack this post and make it about me, but I just wanted to say ‘Thank You!’

Today’s S&R features 2 June customs from Alter Ego, one for Fantasmic Flakies and the other for Polish Pickup Pack. But before we jump into that, let me ask you a question. Do you have an alter ego? I asked myself this question as I was writing the this post and this is what I discovered.

An alter ego is a person’s secondary or alternative personality and through my experience as a swatcher/blogger I have been able to unleash my own “alter ego” if you will. While she doesn’t have a name, she does have quite the personality. She is bold, daring, courageous, talented, spontaneous and outgoing. She has enabled me to come out of my shell and comfort zone to explore a side of me that allows me to live in my true happiness. I don’t have to live in fear, shame or doubt but I am free to be me. Maybe it’s age or experience, heck maybe it’s just gas, but what ever it is, it’s here to stay.

Let’s take a look 👀 at Cynthia’s June customs!

**All swatches are done using Commitment Issue Peel-off Base Coat by Vapid and Tonic Topper by Tonic (shiny) and Matte topcoat by Turtle Tootsie Polishes (matte). Swatch photos are taken using artificial lights.**

Fantasmic Flakies

Abie’s Irish Rose

A light green base with diamond dust and 3 different color flakies

Notes from the makers: “Abie’s Irish Rose is a way back throwback to a love story kinda like Romeo & Juliet. Instead of feuding families Abie is Jewish & Rose is Catholic and it details the families objections to the different religions marrying and trying to find peace with it when the couple elopes. Compromise is happily finally reached when the young couple has a baby.”

Polish Pickup Pack

Courtney’s Frogspawn Coral

A holo green glitter with neon purple flakies. It can be a topper or built up for coverage

Notes from the maker, “Fish tank is for June, description, “When the theme of “Under The Sea” was chosen I didn’t go to the aquarium or the internet, I went to 6Harts living room! Courtney has a salt water tank that she attends to as lovingly as she tends to her furbebbehs! Amongst the beauties is a Frogspawn coral. For what I have read, frogspawn are kinda fussy and need the fabulous enivronment Courtney has created for them-hers are thriving! Corals are living creatures that don’t need direct feeding a long as their environment is clean with the right water temperature, pH conditions, water movement and lighting. While this purple and green gem doesn’t appear to do much it helps a great deal to provide shelter for everyone else in there 🙂”

Overall Thoughts
